It's A Pleasure

For me, having been in the leisure and hospitality sector for nearly 40 years, the most satisfying thing is helping clients to achieve their expectations. Whether I’m going to see a new leisure development or hotel site that I first worked on at the planning stage, or helping a client buy or sell a business, seeing a successful deal through to completion gives me much pleasure.

Recently I provided a long-standing client (a property company with a large portfolio) with marketing advice on the sale of 9 hotels. This was my client’s first substantial property sale so they were looking for independent thinking not just simply on selling and expectations on price but also on potential income streams to be derived from commercial lettings.

The bigger picture gave my client confidence to proceed to the market and commit to the sale of 6 hotels leaving 3 hotels to be successfully let on commercial terms, instead of being sold, and transferred across to the clients investment portfolio thus creating added value.
