Construction is well underway of the 120 bedroom Express by Holiday Inn at Stroud Park, Banbury, which adjoins Junction 11 of the M40 in North Oxfordshire.
The hotel will be operated by Butterfly Hotels, the East Anglian based group, and will incorporate four meeting rooms and an all day coffee shop and bar. This will bring their number of hotels to 8.
The site extends to 2.2 acres, on the remainder of the site, a Toby Carvery has already been constructed and is trading.
Fleurets acting jointly with the local Banbury agents, Berry Morris, negotiated a 125 year lease to Mitchells & Butlers Retail in respect of the restaurant and hotel at a commencing rent of £170,000 subject to five yearly rent reviews of the whole site.
