  • Barry Gillham FRICS MCIArb - Chairman

    Barry joined Fleurets in 1964 and is based in the London office.

    He is on the RICS President's Arbitration and Independent Expert Panels and deals primarily with Arbitration and Independent Expert cases for public houses and restaurants. He is also appointed as Expert Witness in negligence and other court cases.

    He is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a Past President of the Association of Valuers of Licensed Property.

  • Martin Willis FRICS - Managing Director

    Martin joined Fleurets in 1984 after spending 4 years at Bass plc and 6 years at the Inland Revenue Valuation Office.

    He is based in the London office and is involved with all forms of licensed property, dealing with portfolio sales and valuations, tax and compulsory purchase valuations, rent reviews and estate management advice to receivers, administrators, investors and small companies. He has acted as Expert Witness on a number of occasions.

    Martin is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), is Chairman of the RICS Trade Related Property Group, is a member of the RICS Valuation Standards Board and is on the RICS President's Arbitration Panel.

  • Graeme Bunn MRICS ACIArb - Director and Head of Professional Services

    Graeme joined Fleurets in 2000 after 5 years in private practice at Allsop & Co.

    As Head of Professional Services, he is responsible for professional standards in relation to all valuation and landlord & tenant advisory work. He specialises within the UK pub sector dealing with rent reviews, lease renewals, company asset valuations, securitization valuations, bank valuations and a variety of general consultancy issues.

    He is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and regularly acts as an Expert Witness in relation to Arbitration and Independent Expert referrals concerning disputed rent reviews.

  • Simon Hall MRICS - Director and Head of Agency

    Simon joined Fleurets in 1997 having worked previously at Whitbread.

    As Head of Agency Services, he is responsible for standards of sales and acquisitions work across the Company.

    Simon is head of the North office based in Leeds, and has experience of capital and rental valuation work of a wide range of licensed & leisure property. As well as co-ordinating instructions from a number of national operators, Simon personally deals with agency activities throughout the North East.

    Simon is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

  • Paul Hardwick MRICS - Director

    Paul joined Fleurets in 2000 having previously been an estate manager with Scottish & Newcastle. His entire career has been in the licensed, leisure and hospitality property sectors.

    Paul has extensive experience in both agency and professional services relating to hotels, restaurants and public houses. With overall responsibility for Fleurets’ hotel division, Paul has a particular focus on hotel instructions.

    Paul is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and often acts as Expert Witness in third party proceedings, including giving evidence in Court.

  • Paul Newby FRICS MCIArb - Director

    Paul joined Fleurets in 1991 after 10 years in private practice with a Birmingham based firm of chartered surveyors.

    He is head of the Midlands office based in Birmingham and deals with capital and rental valuations of a wide range of licensed and leisure property. He is on the RICS President's Arbitration and Independent Expert Panels. Paul also deals with a number of corporate portfolio agency instructions as well as providing consultancy and estate management advice to receivers and administrators.

  • John Nicholl FRICS - Director

    John joined Fleurets in 1976 and is based in the London office.

    He specialises in the capital and rental valuation of hotels, licensed and leisure property nationwide. He is on the RICS President’s Arbitration and Independent Expert Panels and for many years was a committee member of Arbrix.

    He is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, member of the Entertainment and Leisure Forum (ELF) and a recognised and experienced Expert Witness, particularly in the hotel sector.

  • David Sutcliffe MRICS - Director

    David joined Fleurets in 2000 after working for 11 years at Greenalls where he was Group Portfolio Manger. He has also worked for Scottish & Newcastle.

    As head of the North West office based in Manchester, he deals with capital and rental valuations, as well as agency matters, for all types of licensed and leisure property. He also provides estate management and asset valuation advice for both national and regional companies.

    David is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and regularly acts as an Expert Witness for clients in arbitration and valuation matters.

  • Bob Whittle - Director

    Bob joined Fleurets in 1979 after spending 8 years with Scottish & Newcastle and Tollemache & Cobbold, within both trade and estates management.

    He is head of the East Anglia office based in Sudbury, Suffolk and deals primarily with the sale and acquisition of hotels, public houses and restaurants.

    Bob is a Vice President and Fellow of the Association of Valuers of Licensed Property, having been its secretary for many years.
