Young & Co.'s Brewery Plc

Young's has completed the acquisition of The Constitution, 42 St Pancras Way, Camden. The transaction included the simultaneous acquisition of the leasehold interest from Pubs of Distinction and the freehold from an investor. Ed Sandall, a Director at Fleurets brokered the deal.

Hop Vietnamese to expand

Hop Vietnamese has announced the expansion of the brand, having ended its crowdfunding campaign and raised over double its £750,000 target. Big Hospitality reports that the brand presently has five sites in London, however plans to add a further 20 locations to its portfolio in the next four years as well as a roll out of dark kitchens.

Nyx hotel planned for Liverpool

Fattal Hotel group has confirmed plans to open a Nyx branded hotel in Liverpool's city centre. The hotel will possess approximately 200 rooms and be housed in the city's Gostins Building. Liverpool City Council are yet to approve planning permission. The Caterer further reports that Nyx hotels has three properties in the UK pipeline, the relaunch of the Grange Holborn in London, a new build 261 bedroom hotel in Birmingham and the conversion of a listed building in Edinburgh.

Shoot the Bull expands to York

Shoot the Bull, the Hull-based bar and restaurant company, has opened a fifth site in York. Propel reports that the new opening has occupied the former Wagyu Bar & Grill site in Low Petergate and reopened as The Old House. There are also plans for sites in Leeds and Manchester.

Five-star aparthotel open in Lytham St Annes

Lytham St Annes in Lancashire has seen a new five-star aparthotel open after a £4m investment, reports Boutique Hotelier. The Lytham Hy Hotel possesses 35 apartment-style rooms and is being run by Black and White Hospitality; by the end of the year it will offer a celebrity-branded restaurant and bespoke spa.

Flower Burger, the Milan-based 'original rainbow vegan burger', has signed a master franchise agreement with Gerry's Group to develop the brand across the UK. Propel reports that the agreement will result in 45 openings in key cities across the UK over the next ten years.
