The tide is turning...

According to a survey by the British Beer and Pub Association, the tide is turning on the rate of pub closures

Figures released this week showed that 2,365 pubs closed in 2009, with on average 39 pubs closing a week, against a peak figure of 52 in the first half of last year.

Whilst many pubs are closing, a large number are going to alternative use, in fact over 40% of pubs sold by Fleurets last year were sold to buyers looking to convert them into the likes of homes, offices, restaurants etc.
