Inception Group to open three new Mr Fogg's bars
Inception Group plan to open an additional three bars under the Mr Fogg's Collection, doubling the number of sites. Mr Fogg's House of Botanicals will be located in Fitzrovia and open this June, whilst Mr Fogg's at Broadgate Circle in poised for September and finally Mr Fogg's Society of Exploration will open in October just off the Strand. According to Pub and Bar magazine, Inception Group plans to open more Mr Fogg's venues in 2019.
C&C acquire Bibendum and Matthew Clark
According to the Morning Advertiser, Magners owned C&C Group has acquired the Conviviality brands, Bibendum and Matthew Clark, with support from AB InBev. Renamed Matthew Clark Bibendum, C&C now owns 100% of the company.
Chucs set to open fourth London restaurant
Chucs, the Mediterranean restaurant group, is set to open its fourth London restaurant, located in the Serpentine Galleries, according to The Caterer. The Kensington Garden opening will join Chucs Harrods, Chucs Westbourne Grove and Chucs Dover St, however the new venture, set to open later this month, will offer a take-away menu.
Preferred Hotels adds two hotels to UK Collection
Preferred Hotels & Resorts has added two new hotels to its UK collection, reports The Caterer. The first is the 207-bedroom Grand Hotel & Spa in York, which has a five-AA-starred rating and will join the LVX Collection. The second hotel is the 185-bedroom Edgbaston Park Hotel & Conference centre in Birmingham, which is due to open in August and will join Preferred's Connect Collection.
White City Soho House set to open
Soho House is set to open in the former BBC headquarters in White City later this month, according to Paul Charity of Propel Info. The site will feature a cinema, rooftop pool and bar, screening room, gym, club space as well as 45 bedrooms.

Fleurets is marketing the freehold for The Cock & Rabbit in The Lee, Buckinghamshire. As reported by Propel Info, the pub was featured in the ITV drama Midsomer Murders as Rose and Chalice public house.
