Be At One has announced the opening of their second Birmingham site

Located in Brindleyplace, Be At One's second Birmingham site has undergone a £500,000 refurbishment and is expected to open on Friday 5th October. According to Pub and Bar Magazine, the venue has a capacity of 150, with an additional 30 covers on an outside terrace.

Flat Iron open sixth London restaurant

Piper-backed steak concept, Flat Iron, has announced the opening of its sixth London site, reports Propel. The new restaurant will open on Thursday 4th October in Kings Cross, joining a portfolio that spans Portobello, Covent Garden, Soho and Shoreditch.

Shepherd Neame report profits increase

As reported by The Morning Advertiser, Shepherd Neame, the Kent-based brewer and operator, has reported an increase in profits, to £11.8m, for the 53 weeks ending 30th June 2018. Shepherd Neame, Britain's oldest brewer, currently operates 321 pubs across the south east and Kent, of which 242 are tenanted, 68 managed and 11 with free of tie leases.

Seventh Hubbox to open in Taunton

Hubbox, the West Country burger brand, is set to open its seventh site on Friday 5th October, according to Propel Info. The new restaurant is to be located on North Street in Taunton, Somerset, occupying the former Roots Cafe And Red-Hot Razzberry.

North Brewing Co to open taproom in Leeds

North Brewing Co has announced the forthcoming opening of its first city centre taproom. The new venue, North Brewing Taproom, will open in the award-winning business' hometown, Leeds, this November. According to The Morning Advertiser, the 12,000 sq ft site on the corner of Sovereign Street and Swinegate will also feature a street food offering from Little Bao Boy.
