Peach Pub Company, who currently operate 20 gastro-pubs, has announced a 2.4% increase in like-for-likes for the year ending 7th January 2018, according to Propel Info.

Meat Liquor to open in Battersea

Meat Liquor has announced a new opening on Battersea's Northcote Road, furthering their south of the river, London portfolio. Having operated a delivery service in the area, this opening marks the company's first bricks and mortar site. The Caterer reports that the 45-cover restaurant is set to open in mid to late September.

STR report a strong July for London hotels

As reported by Propel Info, STR's latest data indicated record-breaking ADR and RevPar for the London hotel market in July. RevPar increased by 9% to £156.15 when compared with July 2017, and the ADR 4.7% to £171.25. July 2018's performance even exceeded July 2012 which saw London host the Olympics. Furthermore, when compared with the previous year, occupancy rose to 91.2%.

New Leeds venue for The Box

Arc Inspirations, the operator responsible for Banyan Bar & Kitchen and Manahatta, has invested £1.4m in a new Leeds venue for their brand The Box. Marking the brand's second Leeds site, the new city centre venue is expected to open in September. The Morning Advertiser reports that the latest venture will take the group's portfolio to 18 sites.

New apartment and hotel scheme in Ashford

A new apartment and hotel development scheme, worth £55m, is to be developed in Ashford. The project is expected to complete by spring 2020, reports Boutique Hotelier, and is located opposite Ashford International railway station, on an empty site. Led by Elevate Property Group, the scheme will see the development of 216 flats as well as a 120-bedroom hotel.

Boxpark has submitted a bid to Brighton and Hove City Council in order to restore the Madeira Terrace. The company, whose founder and chief executive, Roger Wade, is a Brighton and Hove resident, has requested a 12-month period of exclusivity to explore design and funding options. According to Propel Info, at present the project includes a retail and leisure development, alongside a new premium hotel.
