Sibson House, Cambridgeshire

A picturesque wedding venue and 20 bedroom hotel in Cambridgeshire, the Sibson House was a well run opportunity that suited both individual buyers and local multi-site operators. Interest levels were good with five offers received and a sale agreed to a local entrepreneur looking to grow a hotel estate.

George & Dragon, Tadley

Fleurets first let the George & Dragon in 2020 before we sold the leasehold three years later. The property was placed on the market due to the previous owner's ill health. During the marketing process, we had 12 formal viewings with three strong offers with the property completion to a private individual who had known the pub for a number of years.

Red Lion, Newent

Fleurets were instructed to market the property both To Let and For Sale. Values in Newent are lower than other areas in Gloucestershire and therefore the opportunity to acquire a town centre pub with letting rooms and a garden off an asking price of £395,000 appealed to a cross section of purchasers. We received 169 requests for details and the freehold was sold close to the asking price of £395,000.

Captain Howey Hotel, Kent

The Captain Howey was brought to the market on behalf of private clients who had initially run the business themselves but when they decided to retire was then let. When their tenants decided not to renew their lease as they themselves wished to retire, we were appointed as agents to offer the property on the open market. Our marketing approach included regular advertising, direct approaches to over 9000 matching registered applicants and viewings quickly followed. A sale was subsequently agreed to a local independent operator.

Drakes Hotel, Brighton

Fleurets acted on behalf of A Curious Group of Hotels who acquired the south coast boutique hotel in June 2023. Being retained and therefore fully aware of their property requirements, Fleurets identified the Drakes Hotel as being a good match and made a discreet, off-market approach to the vendors, before eventually negotiating the purchase.


Red Lion Inn, Milfield

The Red Lion was sold after a 17 year association with the owners, who had previously been both managers, then tenants and owners from 2010.

With a young and growing family they decided to sell the Red Lion Inn, previously unsuccessfully marketed by another agent. We assisted in arranging a sale to a family partnership who moved from Cheshire.

Pinegrove Hotel, Carlisle

The freehold of the 25 en suite bedroom hotel had been in the Middleton family since 2003 with the younger generation taking over in September 2019 following the death of their father. Fleurets saw genuine interest with the hotel being purchased by Karpal Singh Sohal who will be building on the existing trade and plans to open a new Indian restaurant.

Swan, Fittleworth

The freehold of the Grade II Listed historic coaching inn was on the market with leisure property specialists Fleurets at a guide price of £1,250,000 + VAT. The property was purchased by an experienced operator.

Hertford House, Hertford

Fleurets were instructed to provide a Valuation Report for Hertford House, a beautifully converted Grade II listed, Georgian Townhouse Hotel located in the Heart of Hertford. This high profile property comprises Hertford House Bar & Restaurant, Quiet Man public house and 28 bedroom Hertford House Hotel.

Penbontbren Luxury B & B, Ceredigion

Provided valuation advice for loan security purposes in connection with the acquisition of luxury bed and breakfast business set in 18 acres of grounds.

Meudon Hotel, Maenporth, Cornwall

Valuation advice in connection with the provision of finance to substantially refurbish this 30 bedroom/suite hotel to provide a high quality hospitality experience. The hotel is uniquely located within a sub-tropical Cornish valley with access to a private beach.

Limestone Hotel, West Lulworth

Valuation of this high quality 10 bedroom hotel situated on Dorset’s Jurassic Coast, to assist in facilitating the refurbishment and expansion of a small portfolio of leisure properties.

Burleigh Court Hotel, Stroud

Provided valuation advice in connection with the acquisition of this 18 bedroom Georgian Hotel located in the Cotswolds.

Exhibitionist Hotel, SW7

Valuation advice for the owner of the Exhibitionist Hotel in South Kensington. An impressive 37 bedroom design-led boutique hotel Hotel operation.

Borough High Street, London

Acting on behalf of a private client, Fleurets conducted an operator search and selection process, agreeing terms for the letting of a seven storey new build 50 bedroom 4 star boutique hotel, bar and restaurant occupying a prime Central London location close to London Bridge.

Premier Inn, Wimbledon

Acting on behalf of the landlord, Aviva Investors, we provided rental advice and negotiation assistance to in respect of the open market rent review relating to this 138 bedroom branded budget hotel.

Blackwell Grange, Darlington

Fleurets advised the local authority as the owner of Blackwell Grange Hotel in Darlington, in respect of the rent review and possible lease restructuring on this Grade II listed 108 bedroom hotel.

Holiday Inn, Oxford

Acting for Merton College, Fleurets undertook an appraisal of the tennant’s proposals to carry out major reconfiguration and extension works to the 154 bed Holiday Inn Oxford, involving the removal of the existing leisure facility to add 64 new letting bedrooms.
