Our work

Bird In Hand, Bristol

The tenant operates the property in the village of Saltford near to Bristol under a leasehold interest expiring in May 2034. This tenant bought the freehold interest, which was owned by the Landlord, Tavern Propco. The transaction was handled by Elysia Wilson-Gunn in the London Office. This was on behalf of our client Tavern Propco.

White Horse, Edmonton

Being in the centre of Edmonton it benefitted from good footfall, therefore receiving interest to remain as a public house but with some interest from developers due to the large upper parts. With 13 viewings in total, we set a best bids deadline. The first sale fell through but due to receiving competitive bids we exchanged swiftly with another party who bought the site for continue licenced use.

Seven Stars, Marsh Baldon

The freehold had previously been acquired by 'the village' who impose trading requirements. Fleurets secured experienced local operators who were presented to 'the village' committee who were enthusiastic about their potential. Due to the difficult market conditions the Landlord accepted a slightly reduced rent for two years enabling the deal to proceed. This represents a good example of Fleurets' ability to facilitate a deal in a difficult market.

The Crown, Radnage

The freehold of the destination public house was on the market with Fleurets for just two months before going under offer. The village pub saw extremely high levels of interest during its short time on the market with 17 viewings on the opening date alone.

The sale of The Crown highlights that in this difficult market there are still active funded buyers looking to transact in short timescales.

Fieldys, Suffolk

Fleurets provided marketing advice for both letting and sale and our clients opted to sell. We needed to facilitate a quick sale so it was more important to use our knowledge of likely buyers and contacts in the area. Several calls were made aswell as details mailed to other pubs in the town and catchment and to local convinience shops as it could have suited another alternative use. This resulted in a number of viewings within days of the property coming to the market from which mutiple offers were received.

Shepherds Rest, Todmorden

A very nicely presented country inn and destination eating-house which had been well maintained by the same owner for a number of years. The property had previously been on the market with another agent, however, they had failed to find a buyer. The property was brought to market by Fleurets and the buyers, who were living in Australia, saw it advertiser on our website. Ian Taylor of our North West office introduced them to a specialist mortgage broker and the sale completed with all parties delighted with the outcome.

Cock Inn, Halstead

A freehold disposal for a pub company. The pub has had a tricky recent history including a period of closure and latest tenants were keen to leave for another site they felt more suited to with the same landlord. Openly marketed with a closing date which generated strong interest and several offers exceeding the guide of £495k. Contracts unconditionally exchanged at £535,000.

Welsh Tavern, Dartford

The Welsh Tavern was a freehold property recently closed after tenant surrendered with c. 5000 sq. ft. in approx. 0.2 acres. A guide of £595k produced strong interest and multiple offers with a sale agreed following a closing date at £670k, with completion set 28 days later.

Railway Hotel, Ipswich

Our client had planning refused instructed Fleurets to market the property having been closed for over a year the premises licence had been surrendered. Sale was quickly agreed with a London buyer they did not hold a personal licence but we put them in touch with a company experienced in licensing matters who got them their personal licence and a new premises licence. This is an excellent example where Fleurets were able to sell a challenging closed public house.

Half Moon, Windlesham

A very special destination freehold public house which has been in the owner's family for 100 years. As such confidentiality was paramount which was achieved by our client Young's PLC acquiring the property and within the owner's preferred timescale.

Manor of Walworth, Elephant & Castle

Freehold sale on behalf of administrators Cowgills. The Manor of Walworth is an imposing historic building in the hugely improving area of Elephant & Castle. The property was put to the market without the benefit of trading accounts however due to the location and presentation of the property there was significant interest from licensed trade buyers, developers and alternative use buyers.

Raven, Tower Bridge

Fleurets provided letting advice on the Raven which had been closed during the pandemic with the keys returned to the landlord and the bar stripped out. Whilst not marketing the property we agreed an off market deal with a rental uplift to multi-site operators, Pulse Developments. The property is now well invested with iconic fittings including the original Horseshoe Gold Bar servery from the Hospital Club, Soho and the psychedelic Missoni Carpet.

Ex Soul Store, Kilburn

A huge 10,000 sq. ft. plus building which hadn't traded for a number of years therefore was in a state of disrepair. Fleurets acted on behalf of Star Pub Company and despite the condition, being located in such a prominent position, there was substantial interest and in excess of ten bids with the eventual purchaser being JD Wetherspoon.

Vibrant sports bar & live entertainment venue located directly opposite Warrington Wolves Rugby League Stadium. Fleurets successfully introduced the property to a national pub company, who later bought it.

Rainbow Inn, East Sussex

The leasehold interest in the Rainbow Inn was put on the market as it didn't suit the previous owner's business model as they were multiple operators and operated it under management. The property has completed to a first time operator who will be running it as a family business. During the market period of the Rainbow Inn we saw strong levels of genuine interest and viewings.
