Fleurets is recognised as a lease advisory expert in the leisure property market. Operating on a nationwide basis, involving rental values of thousands through to millions of pounds per annum, representing both landlord and tenant client’s that include institutional, corporate and independent parties across the landlord and tenant, lease renewal, rent review and lease restructuring fields.

Our expertise covers the leisure property spectrum and extends from central London luxury hotels and major branded budget hotels through to regionally located independent coaching inns, traditional public houses, bars, restaurants, experiential leisure and includes exposure across the leisure property sub sectors. Our team frequently act as Expert Witnesses in third party expert and arbitration disputes and several members of our senior advisory team are on the RICS President’s Panel of Independent Experts and Arbitrators in dispute resolution.

Fleurets were instructed to act on behalf of Jesus College in connection with a rent review of pub premises in central Cambridge.

Fleurets were instructed by the landlord to negotiate a renewal of the lease for this restaurant, which is located in a prime position in Hitchin town centre. We were instructed to act on behalf of Shoreditch Bar Group/Novus Leisure in order to reach rent concession agreements for periods of closure.  The ongoing instruction involved negotiating with landlords across an estate of c35 late night bars and night clubs.  The resolutions reached with landlords have assisted the group to survive the pandemic resulting in no permanent closures.
