Puttshack opens at Bank in London

Puttshack, the mini-golf concept, has opened a site in Bank, marking its central London debut and third site in total. Propel reports that the site, located at 1 Poultry in the City of London, has capacity for 650 people. Puttshack plans a further opening in Intu Watford in the summer, having recently opened its first US site in Atlanta, Georgia.

PPHE Hotel Group purchases SE1 site for hotel

International hospitality real estate group, PPHE Hotel Group, has acquired the freehold for a site in SE1, London, with intentions to develop the site into a hotel. The site was acquired for a total investment of £12 million (excluding taxes and associated costs). Propel reports that the group now need to obtain planning permission for the development of a hotel.

Wadworth to build new brewery

Family brewer and pub operator, Wadworth, has announced plans to build a new brewery, reports The Morning Advertiser. It is understood that the project is in very early stages, however chief executive Chris Welham said that it plans to make the business more flexible, secure the long term development of the Wiltshire-based business as well as meet changing market demands.

Maison François to open on former Simon Parker Bowles site

The site of Simon Parker Bowles' former Green's Restaurant & Oyster Bar on Duke Street, St James's, is set to open as Maison François, an all-day brasserie. Big Hospitality reports that the brasserie will become part of the mixed-use development The Marq, which occupies 46,000 sq ft.

Oakman Inns plans fundraising for growth

Oakman Inns and Restaurants is to embark on a new round of fundraising. Aiming to raise between £10m and £12m to expand upon its existing 24-strong estate. Propel reports that Oakman Inns may be offering a suite of investment products to investors.
