Leisure property specialist Fleurets has been instructed by administrators FRP Advisory to market three public houses in London and the Home Counties; The Golden Ball in Maidenhead, 185 Watling St. Pub & Kitchen in Towcester and The Imperial Arms in Chelsea.

Mitchells & Butlers announce positive financial results

Mitchells & Butlers has announced positive trading results across its estate for the 51 weeks ending 21st September 2019. Pub and Bar Magazine reports that total sales grew by 4% in the year-to-date, and food and drinks sales both increased by over 3%. Mitchells & Butlers has also opened seven new sites and completed 239 conversions and remodels.

Former Vanilla Black chef to open Peckham vegetarian bistro

Tom Heale, former sous chef at Vanilla Black, and his partner Anne Stokes are set to open a vegetarian bistro in Peckham next month. Big Hospitality report that the restaurant, Naïfs, will offer both vegetarian and vegan dishes.

Quest aparthotels opens first UK site

Quest, Australia's largest aparthotel operator, has opened a site in Liverpool, marking its first UK site and also first outside of Australia. Boutique Hotelier reports that the building has been under a year-long £10m transformation. Quest currently has 29 properties in the pipeline, with plans to open ten properties in the UK over the coming five years.

Gail's Bakery plans three London openings

Gail's Bakery is planning three London openings, reports Propel. Having opened their 50th site this year, Gail's is now planning openings in Willesden Green, Gloucester Road and Islington's Upper Street. The Gloucester Road site is a former Four Winters' ice cream parlour, whilst the Upper Street unit is a former Carluccio's. Gail's is also planning an opening in Cambridge.

Epic Pies is set to open its first bricks and mortar site in Carter Lane, near St. Paul's. Big Hospitality reports that the 55-cover restaurant and shop will open next month.
