Revolution Group exchanged contracts with Aprirose

Revolution Group has exchanged contracts with real estate investment company Aprirose, landlord of nine of the Group's properties, to surrender five leases of underperforming sites and to re-gear a further four leases. Ed Sandall, Director at Fleurets is instructed by Aprirose to sell the five properties which have been surrendered and the four re-geared investments. See the properties here.

Peter Sanchez-Iglesias opening third concept in Bristol

Peter Sanchez-Iglesias is opening a third restaurant in Bristol, appropriately named The 3rd. Big Hospitality reports that the concept will link the Michelin-starred Casamia and Paco Tapas, which share the same building. The 3rd is expected to open in March.

Chopstix plans for further growth

On the back of strong end-of-year performance results, Chopstix is set for further expansion in 2020. There are already four openings planned for the first half of this year - Leeds, Tower Hill in London and Liverpool's Lord Street as well as a site for its sister concept Yangtze opening in Cardiff's St David's scheme. The company is in legals for a further four sites, reports Propel.

Rudy's to open fifth site

Rudy's, a Neopolitan pizza concept, owned by Mission Mars, is to open its fifth site, reports Propel. With existing units in Manchester, Liverpool and Birmingham; the new addition will be in New Street Station, Leeds.

Hilton to open East London hotel in February

A new 126-room hotel from Curio Collection by Hilton, Hart Shoreditch Hotel, will open in East London in February. Boutique Hotelier reports that the hotel, near Brick Lane, will be the fourth London property for the Curio Collection.
