22/04/2026 12:39:00

Press Release

Shiko Group has appointed leisure property specialists Fleurets to support its next phase of growth.

Shiko Group, the operator of eight distinctive venues across the North of England and an operating partner of Universal Hospitality, has appointed leisure property specialists Fleurets to support its next phase of growth.

Led by Anthony Ellis, the group operates a portfolio of bespoke venues across Manchester and Leeds, including The Lawn Club, Courts Club and the Canary Bar.

Through its partnership with Universal Hospitality, the hospitality arm of Allied London, the group specialises in delivering both permanent destinations and agile, meanwhile concepts, combining operational expertise with real estate to unlock value across prime urban locations.

It is understood that the company is now actively seeking opportunities in major UK cities as part of its continued expansion.

Kevin Conibear, Director at Fleurets, who is leading the search, commented: "Shiko Group, alongside Universal Hospitality, bring together a proven track record of creating distinctive destinations. Allied London, the hospitality arm of Universal Hospitality has been behind landmark places such as the Brunswick Centre and Spinningfields, alongside concepts including The Oast House and The Pavilion at Spinningfields, which went on to become The Ivy Spinningfields.

"Together, this partnership embodies an operator-led model of place activation, combining real estate, brand and operational expertise to create unique venues and deliver repeatable, high-performing experiences. With a proven pedigree and concepts that blend traditional F&B with experiential leisure, they represent a leading example of how hospitality can evolve profitably in the UK while adding long-term, sustainable value to places."
