Evolv Collection reports 'transformative period' of growth

The Evolv Collection has reported revenue of £151.6m for the 15 months ending 31 December 2025 with 'healthy' life-for-like growth across its 28-strong UK and US estate, reports The Restaurant. Trading EBITDA over the period was £14.6m, up from £2.6m in 2024. Following its acquisition of the group, which previously operated as D&D London, in 2023, Breal and Calveton says it has delivered its vision to recruit an industry leading team, which includes Williams as CEO and Connie Salmon as CFO. The group describes the 15 month period to December 2025 as a 'transformative period' that 'dramatically improved' profitability, despite sector headwinds around increased employer NI, food inflation and utility costs.

Harvey's invests £1.5m in brewery stay concept

Harvey's Brewery is set to open eight boutique rooms above its brewery shop in Lewes, as the regional brewer looks to build its tourism and experiential offer. The accommodation, which is expected to open later this year, will be created within part of the brewery's former office space. Havery's chairman and manging director Hamish Elder told The Morning Advertiser (MA) that the move reflected growing demand for experience-led hospitality, while helping preserve part of the historic brewery site. The development forms part of a wider multi-million-pound investment programme across the site, with the initial eight rooms accounting for around £1.5m spend.

Big Table gets green light to proceed with Las Iguanas restructuring plan

The future of the Las Iguanas group is to go to a creditor vote after its owner received approval from the High Court, writes The Restaurant. Big Table Group is looking to inject £3m of capital into the brand as well as restructure the leasehold business of the 44-strong Latin American restaurant brand. The proposals could see a reduction or write-off of debts to landlords. Speaking to MCA, Big Table CEO Alan Morgan said that the court application was a proactive move aimed at safeguarding the future of the brand. Some sites would close as part of the process, but Morgan said it was not likely to be many.

Punch Pubs reports strong Q2 as estate continues to grow

unch Pubs has reported a strong second quarter with revenue up 9.4% to £184.1m and underlying earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) up 7% to £50.2m. The group acquired a further 35 sites in the period for £25.4m - including 30 from McMullen's - bringing its estate to 1,298 pubs. Since the end of the quarter, Punch has completed on, exchanged or agreed to buy a further 21 pubs, at an aggregate cost of £21.2m, and continues to bolster its pipeline of potential acquisitions of single sites and small portfolio. Eight weeks into its current quarter, underlying EBITDA is reported to be ahead of the same period in 2025, reports The Caterer.

Nobu Hospitality to open first countryside hotel in Rutland

Nobu Hospitality will partner with wellness-themed members' club Woolfox on the development of Nobu Woolfox, a new hotel, restaurant, and a collection of branded residences in Rutland. Woolfox was founded in 2020 and is set in 185 acres of countryside, near the Georgian town of Stamford. It will now be rebranded and redeveloped in partnership with Nobu Hospitality, though no timeline has been given on when the site will relaunch. Once complete, Nobu Woolfox will feature lake view rooms and suites, a signature Nobu restaurant and bar, curated food and beverage spaces and a spa, alongside a collection of branded residences, reports Boutique Hotelier.
